The Administration & Educators are wonderful, caring, and very approachable. St. Savior is a small school, with small classes, just the right fit for my daughter. She feels at home and the teachers are always available to help when needed, so refreshing! This is our first year and we cannot be happier! Academically, an excellent school. This choice, has proved to exceed our expectations.
So many offerings for clubs, & athletics AND they have new science technology lab. An indoor hydroponic garden where students will learn Science and Sustainability, and be connected with state of the art STEM tools which will engage the school with the broader local community! The food they grow has been donated to a local community food bank, what an amazing addition to Park Slope this little gem is!

SSHS is a very welcoming environment. With only about 200 students and plenty of competitions and team-building events throughout the year, you get very comfortable with your peers and make strong friendships that help you get through the ups and downs of life. The clubs are very diverse, with an extracurricular activity built for almost every interest. But there are definitely things that I believe need to be addressed. Saint Saviour is very conservative, with students learning in their Religion classes about the evils of abortion, euthanasia, birth control, and homosexuality. The school is extremely diverse, with only a few people representing the many ethnicities, religions, or other backgrounds each. I believe that the curriculum at Saint Saviour needs to reflect this diversity by simultaneously encouraging Catholic teachings and allowing each student to speak her mind and talk about her opinion on social and religious issues.
At Saint Saviour High School, being that it is an all girl school, you are able to be yourself. You don't have to impress anybody other than your teachers with your academic skills. You are able to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures and see the diversity. Saint Saviour High School allows you to work academically but also partake in a sport or the many clubs that were created such as Anime club, Cultural Awareness Club, and Book club.
