St. Rita of Cascia High School Reviews
Rating 4.66 out of 5 177 reviews
School is a vibrant learning environment in both scholastic and social arenas. The course curriculum is challenging and offers the opportunity to learn based not only on personal abilities but how much time the student wishes to invest in his own success. There are ample opportunities for personal instruction and teachers are more than willing to give help when solicited. The spiritual development is the cornerstone to learning right from wrong and how to deal with those trying issues facing the youth of today. The athletic programs try to develop the student to maximize his potential - whatever that may be. The Rita experience is a launching pad that truly prepares the kids for the challenges of life after High School. Of all the choices in the area, St. Rita is, by far, the best developmental opportunity for boys on the south side of Chicago. Both of my sons went here and both are Rita success stories!
The is no other school in the world like mine. Located in the heart of Chicago, St. Rita is known for toughness, tenacity, and diversity--I wouldn't have my school or my city any other way. We've overcome a lot in my four years here: racial issues city and world wide, a pandemic, and general unrest. But with the walls of St. Rita on Western Avenue, all those issues seem to fade away. We lean on each other like family members do. It's been a humbling, educating, wild ride and I will miss every minute of it. St. Rita High School has taught me well in and out of the classroom.
I had a wonderful experience at St. Rita. If you are looking for a school that has teachers that are willing to invest their time in you, Rita is where to go. The structure and rigor of the school allowed me to focus on my studies and to identify my next steps after graduating. Highly recommend St. Rita.
