Our daughter has attended St. Peter's since Mid-5th grade. She was accepted warmly with open arms easing all fears about a mid year placement. The teachers are caring and attentive. The curriculum is rigorous and challenging. I have watched the school make great strides to increase diversity. The administration is very agreeable and extremely responsive. I love the website and weekly newsletter. We enjoy the different events like declamation, harvest day, celebration of lights battle of the bands and may day. The student lead parent teacher conferences really helped her understand her strengths and weaknesses and make goals for improvement. The dedication to art and music in the curriculum is quite impressive. She also enjoys participating in sports ...soccer and basketball as well as a host of clubs not to mention learning the bells. She graduates in 2020 and we are confident she is more than prepared for a high ranking private college prep high school.

We have loved St. Peter’s since the first day we dropped off my daughter in preschool when we walked in the door and everyone knew our names (really). The teachers are amazing and the staff extremely helpful and communicative. One morning I had to drop my daughter off early to get to work- I forgot to notify the school, but the staff was more than welcoming and it was no problem. We are still in the early years, so I don’t know much about the upper grades, but we have found an nurturing and kind environment that we feel confident is the right place for our family.
Our family has had mixed feelings about St. Peter's School. We have had amazing and caring teachers, but it is not hard to notice that there is an immense lack of diversity, both culturally and socioeconomically. This lack of diversity can cause social issues within the student body. There is also a lack of communication between teachers and families, especially when it comes to grades. There have been many times when teachers did not inform us when our children were struggling with a certain class or assignment. St Peter's School has many yearly traditions but has started to take them less seriously over the past two or three years, which has been disappointing. However, we have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with how the school is able to work around every individual student's issues with making sure they are able to tackle their school work along with extra-curricular activities and/or previous commitments outside of school. Overall, we have had an average experience.
