As part of its Catholic and specifically Jesuit identity, Prep looks to emphasize education coupled with contemplation in action, including by offering service trips. I went on a trip to Camden and each day consisted of both active service and intentional conversations and reflection in small groups. I found the trip to be a week of genuine fraternity among Prep brothers and a great spiritual consolation. These powerful moments make me very grateful to Prep for providing these immersion trips and making our faith something lived out intentionally. These values set it apart and complement the outstanding coursework.

Saint Peter's Preparatory School is a Jesuit high school in Jersey City, New Jersey. Located right across the river from New York City, Saint Peter's is in the heart of a diverse and well rounded community. Being near several bus, train, and ferry stations, the school is accessible from all over, so the daily commute could not be easier. Employing these best of the best teachers, the students here really get the greatest quality education that their money could possibly pay for at a high school level.
Prep was the last school I applied to in my high school search, but I'm glad that I went. Location alone makes the experience unique, being right in the middle of Jersey City. You learn to be a lot more independent when you have to commute to school. Just like any school, there were teacher's I didn't like, but I can say that they were all good people and made an effort. From my discussions with my friends at other schools, Prep seemed more difficult than other schools, which seemed frightening, but the adjustment was easy, and I felt very prepared heading into college. The whole experience was a special one and I recommend it to anyone and everyone.
