I've been at Saint Paul's since 8th grade. After spending so much time there, I believe I can say this. Most if not all of the teachers there care that you learn and make sure you're doing okay. The classes are huge, usually a max from 20-30 people per class. There are many clubs and they encourage you to get involved in them, and I do to. The clubs are a great way to learn new things and meet new people. The academics there are also great! There are plenty of classes to choose from to if your interested in certain subjects. The have a great Engineering department, and I would recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of going.
The brotherhood created through academics, athletics, and extra curricular clubs at St. Paul's lasts a lifetime. I still keep in touch with classmates who have moved across the country for college and their future. The student/falculty relationships are excellent. Lasallian brothers still run and teach at SPS. The day I met Brother Ray (principal at the time) he knew my name and my birthday already! Most sport coaches are also teachers that interact with students on and off the field or court. The campus consists of multiple buildings with beautiful landscaping much like many college campuses. The facilities include a baseball field, a turf soccer/football field and track, basketball gym, wrestling gym, tennis courts, a large pond, and a theater. Since I have graduated, the school has established concentrated college prep courses such as pre-engineering, pre-med, and economics. Those course will definitely give graduating students a head start in their future academic endeavors.
Great brotherhood involvement. Prepares students for ACT and SAT and college activities. Teaches great life skills and traits. Academics are some of the best in the state and St. Paul's received the Blue Ribbon award. Sports are a big deal at St. Paul's as well. There are a wide variety of sports and clubs ranging from VEX Robotics to Swimming and Football. The teachers and administration at the school do a fair job at keeping everyone in line. As an all boys school, St. Paul's is very strict about dress uniform and appearance and this prepares the students for looking nice and keeping clean.
