I don’t you’d get the academic opportunities that you get here anywhere else across the state of Louisiana. The amount of standardized test prep a student will receive here is unlike any other. There’s a reason we have so many nation merit scholars and ACT 30+ students. It’s an amazing school due to not just academics, but the culture and the life-long connections you make from the brotherhood you join once you enroll as well. The student life on campus is amazing due to the vast amount of activities you can do. From rugby to quidditch and from quiz bowl to wolves on wheels, this school has anything and everything a student would want to do. Everybody can fit in with any group on campus because of the brotherhood that is built here as soon as you step in campus. Once a student leaves they will not just have received a quality education, but a life-long family made up of their piers and teachers.
St. Paul's School is an incredible place to attend for high school. In grade school, I did alright academically, but at St. Paul's, I flourished. Every teacher is always open to talk and to help, and there are plenty of clubs to suit all interests from Eco Car to Ping Pong to Football to Chess and etc. They did an incredible job preparing me for both the AP exams that I took and for college - including all of the in-class ACT preperatory materials we were guided through. The administration put on a lot of events for us (including trying hard to do so as soon as pandemic restrictions were reduced), and the counselors were always there for us whether we needed college help, help with school, or more personal matters. They have a very strong arts department as well as a flourishing STEM department, with recently added PLTW courses adding to the experience. Above all, they're very affordable, offering tuition and lunch assistance to help those in financial need. Nothing but the best here.
I've been at Saint Paul's since 8th grade. After spending so much time there, I believe I can say this. Most if not all of the teachers there care that you learn and make sure you're doing okay. The classes are huge, usually a max from 20-30 people per class. There are many clubs and they encourage you to get involved in them, and I do to. The clubs are a great way to learn new things and meet new people. The academics there are also great! There are plenty of classes to choose from to if your interested in certain subjects. The have a great Engineering department, and I would recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of going.
