St. Paul's Episcopal School Reviews
Rating 3.75 out of 5 4 reviews
My children have excelled in the warm & kind environment at St Paul’s. The program is academically challenging and fosters a love of learning. The younger children are given several opportunities to play outside during that day. Kindness & love is pervasive in every grade PK - 8th.
My grandson attends school here. He has really enjoyed his PreK year. The teachers have been excellent . They have tried to individualize the curriculum by encouraging his interests. He has bloomed in this environment.
Math program needs to change. With this Singapore math stuff, they completely over complicate everything making it harder to learn. Lower school, however, is engaging and makes it fun for young children to learn. Middle School needs a massive change very soon.
Positives include resources and small class sizes at the K-8 level. However preK and k have very large class sizes. Although they have several teachers in the class, and the classes sometimes beaks into groups. The teachers lack the skill set to adequately manage the behaviors of the kids in such a large setting. In addition, the school is not capable of providing challenging or differentiated work to kids that are highly advanced. There is no gifted programs and they aren't adequately trained in gifted identification.
