St Paul’s Episcopal School is a Christian institute I have attended my entire school career. We stand on the foundation of honesty integrity and respect. St Paul’s believes I teaching the individual child which has been most beneficial to myself and my classmates. There has always been opportunities to participate in many clubs ranging from academics, sports, arts and student government. I love how every individual part makes the whole identity of St Paul’s being an inclusive school that embraces all walks of life. I’ve been taught that since I started in Kindergarten. I will forever be grateful for the lessons I have learned in and out of the classroom! Go Saints!
I am proud to attend St. Paul's Episcopal School. I have been a student at St. Paul's since PreK. The teachers and faculty have always encouraged me to do my best, think outside of the box and stand up for what I believe in. I am an artist who sees thinks differently than most. My free thinking and creative artistic talent are encouraged and cultivated by the staff. My teachers have asked me to do commissioned art on subjects like Mardi Gras, their children and pets. I have designed t-shirts for various school activities and co-founded the school's first apiary club. As much as I admire and appreciate bees, my interest is to help raise awareness of their plight on our environment. The faculty allowed me to focus on product design and marketing verses tending to the bees. My teachers have generously attended art awards outside of school events to support me. I feel I have had the opportunity grow without limits, sprinkled with a tremendous amount of education and tough love.
As a St. Paul’s graduate, I can truly say that students that come from St. Paul’s were the most prepared out of all the people from Mobile that go to the college I currently attend. I definitely believe I was college ready, but the academic rigors of St. Paul’s do not even scratch the surface of the amazing community that this school really is. I believe it is the most well-rounded education one can receive in the city of Mobile. Every class has amazing athletes, artists, scholars, and spiritual leaders. Not only this, but it is simply a great place to grow up. The teachers and administration truly care about the students, and there is a mentality of “be the best you can be” in every aspect of education you receive. It is such a special place, and I hope to send my children there one day.
