I enjoy attending Saint Michael's High school. There is a strong community. A student really gets to connect with variety of people. The faculty are very supportive. Most of them have become a family to me, in appropriate ways. The teachers are always helping a student out. They genuinely want to see their students succeed. Many of the faculty are alumnis. It is nice to have that connection. Since St. Mikes is a catholic school there is a enforced lassalian teachings. I believe these actually benefit all despite religion. If there needed to be a change it would be in the science division. There is a great english and math division. However, I feel like the science division is lacking in areas that are a necessity to being prepared for college. Overall, St. Michaels feels like home and always will be.

I'm a parent of one student that currently attends St. Mikes and of one that has graduated from St. Mikes. I have nothing but praise about the school- from the college prep/challenging classes, to the teachers and administration, just a top-notch experience. There's a real sense of "family" at this school. I always heard about it (prior to having my oldest attend) and it is so true. The student body truly cares for one another; they are supportive and engaged from the seniors right down to the 7th graders.

The only "negative" comment, would be regarding the facilities- the interior of the school itself is quite dated and needs to be brought up to more modern standards. It takes a lot of money to do this kind of remodel and at the risk of having to increase tuition, I'd vote on keeping tuition down vs. aesthetics. As long as the students have the tools/technology they need to keep up with competing schools, then that's all that matters.

You won't regret choosing St. Mikes.
I am a recent graduate of SMHS now attending college at a private university in Boston, MA. I attended St. Mike’s for all six years, from seventh to 12th grade, and will be forever grateful to the school for the outstanding academic foundation it provided me, as well as an incredibly encouraging and supportive academic, athletic, and artistic atmosphere for my middle and high school experiences. I enjoy frequently visiting when I am home, as the teachers and staff truly made the school a second home to return to year after year!! Go Horsemen!
