St. Mary's goes above and beyond any expectations held for education! Not only did St. Mary's help me financially when it seemed impossible to attend, their teachers and staff went out of their way to make sure that I was welcome and pushed me to be the best student, athlete, and person I could possibly be. Their academic courses are rigorous, but the teacher to student ratio is small enough that every voice can be heard, and teachers will take the time outside of class hours to ensure that every student knows the material. The inclusion of international students from China, South Korea, and other countries has contributed to a rich diversity in the school, making it a place where cultures can peacefully intermingle and perspectives can be widened on a large scale. As far as sports go, St. Mary's has entire gym walls dedicated to all of the state championship plaques won by their excellent athletes. If you are looking for a school that has it all, St. Mary's is the place for you!

St Marys is the best school I've ever been to. The teachers, resources, and overall school experience are undeniably unmatched by any other school, the school's system makes it easier for students to manage academics, sports, and personal extracurricular activities by offering customizable 'mods' (the school's unique semesters), many open windows for extra help, and access to many resources. The environment experienced at St. Mary's is extremely similar to a college experience. The students are able to create a sense of understanding of what is expected at a professional/college level, the balance needed to sustain grades, personal interests, and possible jobs, and how to succeed in a class that is fast-paced and similar to college courses. Overall, there is no other school in all of Southern Oregon or the Western Coast where you can become prepared through fun and unique courses.
When I arrived at St. Mary's School in 1993 for my first teaching job, it was a small school with long history, a dreamy vision for the future, and a core of dedicated individuals with big hearts. Now, after 25 years of steady growth and excellent stewardship, the school is starting to become that place toward which those early stalwarts strived: it is a school that values the uniqueness of the individual, aims to create life-long learners, aspires to boost its graduates on their college and career paths, fosters an ever-widening community, and seeks a stable, sustainable future as an institution. Bravo, St. Mary's! You have come a long way! And the future looks bright.
