So many things to love about St. Mary’s. The staff is at everything-games, helping NHS on weekend mornings. The stay late and arrive early mentality. The new headmaster is outstanding.
Tons of college classes and students graduate with a lot of credit. It is quite academic and service oriented. You hear a lot about athletics, which are great, but so are the ministry and classrooms. Boys become men. High expectations and lots of support.

Over the past four years, I have attended Orchard Lake St. Mary's. I have been taught by wonderful teachers on the importance of being a respectable man. Throughout my time spent there, my academic and athletic accomplishments truly flourished and improved to the point where instead of needing help from other students, I was the one helping those students out. Orchard Lake St. Mary's, for as long as I can remember, went by a statement, "1. God 2.Family 3. St. Mary's" I believe that this is a great example of the preparatory, because we are a very religious institution, but we also are taught to care for and honor our family and St. Mary's.
Students are lead by military veterans, retired police officers, former NHL scouts, MSU hockey players, Duke grads, MIT grads, the list goes on. Some classes are supplemented by college professors. Definitely a strong cadre of leaders. It only keeps getting better.
