St. Marys Memorial High School is a very safe, respectful, knowledge-filled, and entertaining place to be. The staff in this school provide the upmost help to any student that needs it, and they offer interesting and supportive advice that will stay with their students forever. My experience at this school provided me with wonderful talents, knowledgeable information, many friends, and very supportive and much-needed advice. St. Marys Memorial High School has many fun activities to participate in and provides their students with a wide range of opportunities. Overall, this school is very good and I'm grateful to have attended this school throughout high school.
The main thing this school has under it's belt is sports. I was in the swim team and enjoyed every bit of it. I looked forward to every practice in the pool. I improved most during my Junior and Senior year. The sport the school holds above all else, like most schools I've seen, is football. Towards my last years in high school, the football team had shown some great improvement. Another program the school was quite proud of in my time there was the music program. Specifically the Symphonic band. I was a part of it my Sophomore and Senior year and some of the music we played, while difficult, was able to gain a standing ovation. In term of general education, there was your mix of good and bad teachers. Some who couldn't care less and some who were there every step of the learning process and continue to help where they could. Overall, my time there was better than at some other schools I've been to.
I enjoyed it! Attending MHS, I met some of my closest friends and helped me grow as a person. Now if you're looking for a more diverse high school, then this is not for you, because it is located in a small town.
