St. Mary's Dominican High School is the epitome of a home away from home. It is not just a place to learn but a place to grow as an individual. Also, I feel that I will be fully prepared for college, especially after talking to past seniors at Dominican. My mother is a Dominican alum. She fell in love with Dominican as a young adult, and now so have I. I have made amazing bonds with girls that I know I will never forget. I also have grown closer to God and strengthened my faith. I accredit each and every one of my academic achievements to the faculty at St. Mary's Dominican High School. Kudos to them for shaping young girls into well educated young adults. I love Dominican High School!

As a student, DHS gave me an experience that I will never forget. The friends I made at DHS remain among my best friends - and our children are friends now as well. The faith and relationship that was encouraged and reinforced with God stays with me today as well. As a parent, I was thrilled to see how DHS has grown and progressed with the times. The expansion is college level and AMAZING! As a CIA H there, the comradery of the students and support they give one another is heart warming. It's is wonderful to see that the fantastic experience I had, is still alive!
I am an alum and my daughter is now attending DHS. I have found that the school has kept its core values & integrity over the years while growing with the times. The new STREAM initiative along with all of the new technological advances for the students are amazing. Dominican's teachers, staff & administrators have been extremely helpful when needed by my daughter or I. It is a very challenging school, though, with a harder grading scale than comparable schools. The school expects a lot from its students. Overall, my daughter & I love Dominican. She will be prepared for college as well as broaden her faith in the Catholic religion.
