St. Mary’s Dominicans education is amazing! I enjoyed building relationships with teachers and students through my highschool experience. I found that when I was just starting out I didn’t like the education or my teachers as much as I did when I became a junior and a senior. Overall I loved my education and I believe it will help me better while i’m in college! Only thing I recommend is that the teachers try to build meaningful relationships with the 8th graders, freshman, and sophomores. This will help the transition and help them feel more complicated through their highschool journey!
St. Mary's Dominican High School is the best school I have attended. Dominican gave me opportunities I could not receive on my own and pushed me to be the best person I could be. DHS has a comforting sisterhood environment that focuses on prayer, study, community, and service. With our fulfillment of truth, we are committed to our motto, veritas!
I loved my experience at Dominican! Even if you don't come from a Catholic school background, Dominican is super inclusive and helpful. There is really no better college preparatory school in the New Orleans area!
