I’m a senior at St. Mary’s and it has truly been a great experience. Mary’s academics are top notch. They take a C elementary student, like myself, in freshman year and are sending them to Binghamton senior year. Last year’s graduating class earned over $1.4 million in scholarship for college. I can honestly say I’ve had about 3 bad teachers, two of which I had regents in their class for. Even though I didn’t find them to be good teachers I still passed the regents and will graduate, like many of my other peers, with an advanced regents diploma. The use of iPads make it impossible for students to be unprepared in the classroom or at home doing homework. Our president, Dr. McCleary, and the rest of administration make themselves known and available to students. The only two changes I would make are better food and a better varsity basketball coach. If you are considering Mary’s please reach out to set up a shadow day! We’re always happy to meet new students!

Very good with college prep. HOWEVER! It's still a private school. Be prepared for conservative thoughts and lack of personal expression. Uniforms alone are expensive but tuition is quite similar to what you would pay for in college. My college tuition is lower than theirs. Tuition isn't quite worth it but if you're strong on discipline and conservative or religious values, this is your place. If you want a great high school experience, you won't find it here.
When you’re a new high school student entering the halls of St. Mary’s, you receive a vibe unlike any other school you’ve been in. You’ll turn and turn and see all different natures of people that you’ve never seen before in life. You can be a normal teenager and connect with a international student all the way from China, a Sikh Indian, and much more. The opportunity offered there is something that parents should be raving to place their kids into, as they can become more worldly at a much younger age. The facilities offered at St. Mary’s only complement the opportunity offered there, as its small nature allows faculty to be much more personal with the students. Year after year the school improves on its extracurricular activities, making sure that there’s a chance for you to pursue your interests in an out of class.
