St. Mary Catholic Central is well-known for its academically challenging and faith-based environment. Students attending this high school will receive a high-quality education that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Also, the school is highly prestigious and can play a part in getting into a student’s dream school or other employment opportunity. Although, this institution is a private school that can be financially taxing. In addition, there is not a large variety of classes that you can take at the school.

I enjoyed the culture at the school the most. The sense of tradition at Saint Mary Catholic Central is like no other. The feeling of belonging is also very strong at smcc. The teachers here believe in this school and really do put their heart into this school. Especially the math and science departments. Every math and science teacher are so involved and engaging with all of their students. The administration here also pays teachers to stay after school in our media center. Students come here after school to ask for help and also get different teachers explanation on a subject. SMCC is a home away from home for many students. The one thing I would like to change about the school is the cost of tuition. This would make the school more open and diverse for all people.
As a senior at SMCC, I feel that this school is preparing me for college. There are different levels for classes so you are in a class that is well paced for you. Also, the teachers are very accessible. If you are struggling in a class, there are many options for you to get help. There are after school homework labs, tutoring, emailing a teacher, or going to school early or staying late to ask them questions. You can get very involved with clubs and sports as well. SMCC does a good job at making students feel at home while still preparing them for the next step.
