Attending St. Mark's has been very enlightening and experiential. From the classroom to the playing field, I've always been challenged and pushed to think differently. Camaraderie, collaboration, and citizenship is found in every student activity from the Community Service Board to the Telos Leadership and Ethics program. The famous Pecos experience for rising freshmen allows students to learn more about themselves and their classmates. Teachers' offices are always open for discussion or outside-of-class help. This education has definitely helped me become the man I am now.

St. Mark's by far is one of the most enriching school experiences I have had. I was there for three years (4th, 5th, 6th) and therefore able to see the lower and middle school. The academics are extremely rigorous, and even as a 5th grader I struggled with the homework. Overall, however, I found it to be very helpful as a student.

The athletics (PE program) are also top-notch and allow the kids to experience a wide-variety of sports through it, while re-enforcing physical well-being. I definitely grew as an athlete through their program.

The arts and extra-curricular programs are good as well. In the fourth grade there is a mandatory art rotation, and in fifth and sixth grade you can choose from many electives. I chose electives like Film Studies and Drama, and they were all very good.
When I applied to St. Mark's, I didn't think I would get in. I had been accepted into Cistercian, ESD, and Greenhill, but I was sure I would get turned down from St. Mark's. I was wrong. This school is incredible, and unlike no other. Not just because of the impeccable teachers and academics, but also because of the camaraderie between students. Sometimes there will even be a bigger St. Mark's fanbase at away games than the school we're playing at. Everything about this school is incredible, and I'm so glad I chose to apply.
