Making the transition from middle school to high school can often be a nerve-racking time for a student. This statement described me as I was about to graduate St. Mark’s and voyage to a high school, where a new story would begin. The transition was seamless and I have one place to thank: St. Mark’s. Academically, St. Mark’s made the switch easy as I found all of my high school classes effortless. Most prominent was the writing education. The English department does a fantastic job of preparing children for all of the writing they will have to do in high school. Additionally, the teachers are a hallmark of St. Mark’s. The loving faculty make learning fun and personal, as all the teachers strike meaningful bonds with the students. Finally, the community is unparalleled. From the weekly gatherings at Friday Eucharist to the numerous school events on the weekend, St. Mark’s truly feels like a community! I will always remember St. Mark’s and the everlasting impact it had on me.

St. Mark’s is an excellent school! I have 3 children and have experienced both the lower and middle schools. The faculty and administration care deeply for the students and the administration is open and accessible to all families. The academic program prepares children to succeed academically in high school. St. Mark’s cares about character development and partners with parents to guide children through the challenges they face growing up today. Parents have multiple opportunities to get involved in the St. Mark’s community and we felt welcomed and valued from the start. We are so happy to be part of this wonderful community!
St. Mark's is great! We love this school and our kids have done great here! Families are nice and very welcoming. Teachers are fabulous! We are so impressed with what our kids learn. Most of all, we are happy with how the school is teaching them to be good people- a lot of schools today focus on worksheets and test scores and forget that we also need to teach our kids to be kind, respectful and caring. St. Mark's really partners with us to do just that.
