St. Mark's Episcopal School Reviews

3 reviews
As a professor Rice University and mother of two young children, the academic learning environment is very important to me. I have found St. Mark's to be outstanding regarding academic rigor (many teachers are studying at the Early Literacy Leadership Academy at Rice). The school provides a good foundation for faith and the love of learning. The majority of families are dual-income, and most parents have advanced degrees. This is a great school that emphasizes intellect and faith in an unpretentious environment.

St. Mark's is an incredible school. We sent our oldest to public school through 1st grade and it wasn't a good fit. We were accepted at several private schools and ultimately selected St. Marks because of the inclusive community, strong academics, diversity and wonderful faculty. We haven't been disappointed after 3 years there.
The headmaster literally stands outside the school every morning and greets every student by name- no joke. You don't find that connectedness many places.
We're so grateful to have selected this amazing school.
I've loved my time at St. Marks, they really care about the student and even though our homework load is a lot it prepares us for high school. I would like to change the sports to more competitive, but we don't have a lot of students so I can see why. I feel like I get a whole and complete middle school education. I also take multiple high school level courses.
