I love it here, but when all three of the classes that have a certain teacher complain about the way the teacher does things, and NOTHING happens, that says something. When the food is sub-par because the kitchen staff don't have the money for anything other than scraps due to St. Lawrence's 50K a year spending on VPN blockers that don't work, that says something. When the school doesn't bother to take into account learning disabilities, and the teachers just say "do better" that says something. It says "we don't care". Honestly, the only thing good about this place is the bond you form with your classmates.

My experience at St. lawrence Seminary was one of overwhelming change. I came in as a timid and rather strange freshman. That changed when I surrounded myself with the community and took active participation in classes. The catholic aspect of the school is incredibly satisfactory and the adademic aspect is of equal reagrd. The facilities are all clean and are routinely taken care of by not only the janitorical staff, but also by students. We were encouraged to take part in school clean-ups and ministry, exposing us to the world and the greater community. If there was one thing I would have to change about St. Lawrence Seminary, it would be the inclusion of college credits. The AP program is nearly nonexistant, and entering college I was slightly dissapointed to see none of my college level work pay off. Regardless, the school is fantastic, life-changing, and ultimately excellent in all fields related to academics and community.
St. Lawrence Seminary High School is an excellent high school for anyone looking for a good education and tons of fun. I have made countless memories at this high school. It is an all-boys boarding school, and it is very different from the traditional high school. Although it is not for everyone, I recommend giving St. Lawrence a try!
