Amazing high school! Life changing experience. I made lifetime friends at the Prep's Pre-8th program. Extremely competitive, excellent teachers, top notch sports. Late nights staying up to do Latin homework really paid off, very very very well prepared for college! Go Prep!

Academically challenging for a bright student who will find company with many intellectual peers but also really focuses on producing a well rounded student who participated in sports and other activities, participated in community service and learns to know himself and his strengths. These boys are confident traveling in and out of the city, comfortable meeting people from varied circumstances and some of the most polite and well spoken young men I have ever met. A Prep education is an investment for life.
The Prep was an amazing fit for me. Its location has allowed me to commute into the city of Philadelphia and experience new things that have helped me mature on a level that is not possible at a suburban public high school. The community of students is remarkable. The all boy policy makes the classroom dynamic calmer and allows for a strong sense of "brotherhood" to form. The teachers here are very skilled, highly intelligent, and they boast impressive resumes. The academics are rigorous, but the teachers make themselves available for all students who need extra help in a class. While I play a sport at the Prep, I can tell you that each sport is very successful. If sports aren't your thing, there is an abundance of clubs at the Prep, from the Forensics Team to the Cape & Sword drama society, to the Jazz Band. The academics are great, the teachers are great, the activities are great, and the overall environment makes the Prep one of the best places to be.
