The Prep was an amazing fit for me. Its location has allowed me to commute into the city of Philadelphia and experience new things that have helped me mature on a level that is not possible at a suburban public high school. The community of students is remarkable. The all boy policy makes the classroom dynamic calmer and allows for a strong sense of "brotherhood" to form. The teachers here are very skilled, highly intelligent, and they boast impressive resumes. The academics are rigorous, but the teachers make themselves available for all students who need extra help in a class. While I play a sport at the Prep, I can tell you that each sport is very successful. If sports aren't your thing, there is an abundance of clubs at the Prep, from the Forensics Team to the Cape & Sword drama society, to the Jazz Band. The academics are great, the teachers are great, the activities are great, and the overall environment makes the Prep one of the best places to be.

The best All-Boys school in the Philadelphia are period. This school is very hard to get into because there is a lot of boys who are open to expanding their lives and learning the deep roots of the catholic tradition. Great school for student athletes also if your looking into that. There is a lot you could do at The Prep and I know this because I went to Camp Magis "The More" and I went to Prep U at the summer to develop my mind even further. Their teachers are awesome and so are the students/clubs & activities and everything else about the school. The only problem is that the school is really expensive so you must apply for financial aid. AWESOME SCHOOL OVERALL!!!
Excellent school, nothing better in the Philadelphia area. Great for sports, great for academics, great college readiness. Most people in the school are student athletes and the student comes first before anything
