The courses offered at Saint Joseph High School allow the students to obtain a firsthand experience of the difficulty of a college course. There are many notable universities that offer their arduous courses at Saint Joseph High School, the most difficult being Calculus and Analytic Geometry through the University of Pittsburgh, and General Analytical Physics through Duquesne University. Although they are the most channeling, they are certainly the most fun of all the courses.

Saint Joseph's High School was a very good to attend. The faculty and staff are very dedicated to the education of their students. The curriculum was also very well thought out and had a variety of classes for everyone. They also offered college classes in some courses for a chance to get a head start with credits for college. Spanish, French, Latin and Chinese were offered and I loved that you could be taught these languages. The teachers were very well versed and knowledgeable of these subjects. Half days on Fridays were a blessing and it gave the students more time to study and more time to enjoy themselves. The sport options offered at Saint Joes were incredible.

Some things that could change Is how the older building functions, I realize that it is an older building, but in terms of function it could be better. In the summer the air conditioning barely works sometimes which makes it very hard to concentrate in class when the weather is very hot.
Saint Joseph High School has definitely prepared me for college. There's are a few chances that need to be made though. New food and vending machines, more funding for sports and clubs that aren't basketball, and overall changes to provided technology will bring the school up to the best in the area.
