My wife and I absolutely love this gem of a school! Its classical curriculum is providing an excellent education for our children. Our children are learning all the building blocks in the grammar school: Phonics, spelling, writing (in cursive), grammar, classic literature, math (no common core), Latin, science, patriotic history, art, and religion taught to joyfully embrace their Faith. Our high school children have grown tremendously in their Faith and knowledge. This is due to the solid curriculum and great care that the teachers take with each student to bring them to their full potential. Our children have participated in all of the sports and extracurricular activities offered in the high school and have greatly benefited from not only gaining the skills, but more so the camaraderie of the team and awesome coaches. We are so blessed to have found this unique, wonderful school!

We sold our home & moved 7 hours down the CA coast just so that our sophomore could attend this authentic Catholic school. Our daughter is thriving academically, socially, physically, & most importantly, spiritually. We are so grateful for the dedicated teachers, staff, & other SJA families who live our Catholic faith so beautifully. We love that our daughter could take a real pilgrimage (vs. a typical high school trip) to Rome & Assisi this past spring. We love the athletics, the student run clubs, the parent involvement, & the overall welcoming and joyful feeling we get when we step on campus. Our sophomore goes happily to school every day. We also love that the school day is cellphone free & that the students read from real books not texts downloaded on iPads! 5 stars for our new school where our sophomore is not only challenged academically but is also being constantly nurtured to live a holy and virtuous life. SJA is a great blessing! Well worth the move!
This is my first year at Saint Joseph Academy. I absolutely love the school, studies, students, and staff. It’s truly a great school and I feel very blessed to be here. I wish my sister and cousins could’ve had the chance to attend SJA. I pray at the chapel with my friends everyday and I definitely feel closer to God after being at SJA. Our community and studies are all for God and I learn so much about the Scriptures and God. Absolute blessing!
