PLEASE READ! As a rising senior at Saint Joseph Academy, I have a few thoughts about the school. Foremost, it neglects the voices of its students frequently. As a student, I feel that I have little to savor and enjoy - poor cafeteria food, limited to no accessible parking, inability to wear SJA affiliated sweaters with my uniform, no turf field for sports, etc. Secondly, I have experienced teachers and coaches who have negatively affected me and my peers and seen no change. SJA has its fair share of inspiring teachers and wholesome staff, but many teachers are comfortable leaving students confused and upset. As for the positives, the sense of community within Saint Joseph Academy is unmatched - I will say that finding young women who you can relate to and enjoy being around is a for sure.
Saint Joe's needs to increase the quality of life for students and CHANGE THE GRADING SCALE. OUTRAGEOUS.

I appreciate my SJA education. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure the students are learning in an environment where they are appreciated and respected. However, there isn’t a great support system if you’re falling behind in a class. The girls there seem friendly to your face, but most are pretty fake. Although that’s probably true at every high school. There’s a lot of opportunity to follow your passions, and it’s encouraged. There is not a lot of support for transfer students. It can be difficult to make friends if you don’t start out as a freshman. There is a lot of focus on STEM, which isn’t a bad thing, but something to consider if you’re thinking of going here. The performing arts are overlooked, although the teachers are phenomenal because they do so well for having such limited resources. Overall, Joes has prepared me for college spectacularly. I am ready to face any challenge in life.
I've made some of my best friends at SJA! Such a welcoming atmosphere and full of teachers that really care about their students. SJA pride is through the roof and our spirit week is the best! For study halls, we do not have an assigned room so we can be pretty much anywhere on campus which is great because we have a BEAUTIFUL campus!
