SJA is a close knit community. The bonds created here will last a lifetime. As they say," once a bloodhound, always a bloodhound"! This is so true. The schools continues to reach out to all former students in keeping them abreast of everything taking place on campus. Now with an Alumni Association in place, former students can re-connect with others at either social mixers in a city such as Houston or back on campus. All things considered, it's impressive how much is offered to students in the way of academics, sports and clubs for such a small enrollment.

I love Saint Joseph Academy! As I have always attended public school the change was extremely different to me. However, it was the best change I have ever made. Everyone greeted me immediately and everyone was super excited to have me be a part of their school community. St. Joe is an amazing school and the teachers really do go the extra mile to help their students. As an athlete I was a bit skeptical that a school with such little students could be good at a sport against other schools with much more students. I was shocked to see their first varsity volleyball team to make it and place 2nd overall at the playoffs. Same goes for swimming, a handful of students made it and placed at state which is extremely good.
I started working at Saint Joseph Academy since 2005 and have been blessed to work for incredible leaders, all which have inspired me to do the very best of my ability. I feel valued, appreciated, acknowledged and rewarded which keeps me motivated mentally and physically. Our administration, faculty and staff are truly dedicated and committed to the school community as a whole. We ardently work to keep our Mission and Vision alive for our current students and the generations to come. Our motto is "Ad Astra Per Aspera" which means "To the stars through difficulties" - this encapsulates and expresses the high ideals of our administration, faculty, staff and students.
