St. Johns Country Day School Reviews
Rating 4.08 out of 5 60 reviews
I have only been at St Johns for since freshman year, but I have absolutely loved it. I love the small, close knit, family like, atmosphere this school offers. In addition, the teachers care deeply about every student’s success and will do their very best to ensure that we all reach our full potential. Although the academics can be quite challenging, it is the best benefit to prepare us for college.
As what the school would call a "lifer," I personally attended the school since kindergarten, all the way up to senior year. The school's handling of COVID-19 was an utter disappointment and exposed the embarrassing incompetence of the faculty members. The school thrives on covering up problems and offering leeway to rich white students. The school's math curriculum is about one year behind every single other school in the nation and should not be taken lightly. Among many other horrible experiences, this school is going downhill very rapidly and I would highly recommend perusing other options in the area for prospective students.
I have went to St. Johns my whole life so I haven't really gotten to know many other school-type communities, but for my whole life I have really enjoyed SJ. I have always felt involved and cared for by my teachers and fellow students. I have also been able to enjoy playing basketball for upwards to 7 years now. Playing basketball for SJ has brought some of the best memories I've ever had.
