Putting my child to SJB was one of the best decision my husband and I have made! Not only does the school prepare the kids academically, but also they instilled great values in life! All the teachers and staffs are so involved and so wonderful towards their students! This school is my child’s home away from home! I have read that someone said about “harsh punishment, socialism, eating silent lunch.” 1. This school (like any schools out there) disciplines each child accordingly. All disciplinary action goes through the administration and parents privately. 2 This school is a PROUD Catholic school with a very strong base community! They are a strong, Catholic community are always there for one another! They welcome everyone With open arms. Yes, there’s socializing ..but socialism?! #fakenews 3. Silent lunch? What’s that? #notabullyingschool God bless this school and everyone that works there!

My husband and I have a very large family. 5 of our kids have graduated from St. John the Baptist. They all went on to Mater Dei and excelled. We have 4 children at St. John the Baptist now. We love the academics, the staff. The community is the very best. The Norbertine Fathers teach the true faith. The Norbertine Sisters spend time with the children in the library, lunch time and teaching faith after school at Prayer club. There is mass every week. The children are taught Latin in 7th and 8th grade. The music program is Nationally recognized, winning gold in Carnegie Hall among other dozens of awards. Girls Basketball just won the Championship! We just celebrated our STREAM night last week. My son got to participate in the robotics program. St. John the Baptist is THE best place to prepare your children for success, not only academically but spiritually.
We love SJB! From the caring teachers to the families and parents, we love the sense of community. The Norbertines are a special gift to instill a love for the faith in our kids. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic Catholic education.
