St. John Fisher School Reviews

SJF is home to an amazing community of teachers, families, and students. The class sizes are small (20 or less in each class) affording teachers to give each student individualized attention. The program is academically rigorous preparing students for high school and beyond. It's a tight knit community with like minded families that value academics, kindness, and faith.
The principal, Mrs. Hudani, is stellar. She is a driving force behind the nurturing environment at SJF. She is accessible to students and parents and makes it a point to know each and every student. Teachers genuinely care about the growth of the children who attend this school.
My children have flourished here. As a parent, I have reached out to Mrs. Hudani and teachers in the past for support or advice. They have never led me astray. I highly recommend SJF to any family that values a tight knit community who puts their child(ren) first.
Best of all, SJF is welcoming to students and families of all faiths.

We have 2 young children attending SJF and while these comments cover some aspects of the school, we haven’t experienced everything yet. Thus far, our children’s experiences and ours have been all we could have expected and more. The teachers and faculty are caring and dedicated. Principal Hudani is a first-rate administrator and her front office personnel keep the parents extremely well-informed of school activities and events. On the topic of bullying, I have witnessed rough-housing during recess but in the only instance I’ve seen of bullying, it was quickly addressed...granted I’m just one parent with limited onsite experience, so with this caveat, bullying issues seem to be isolated and uncommon. I’ll update if I experience otherwise in the future.
Small school with small class sizes. Superb academics. Caring, attentive, dynamic teachers. Excellent leadership. Friendly, helpful staff. Well behaved, respectful students. Newly renovated campus facilities, including student restrooms, courtyard, new lunch table, & gymnasium. CYO sports teams, drama program, choir, after-school enrichment programs, new science lab, new computer lab, etc - this school has it all! And the tuition is reasonably priced. Best deal on the hil for the best education on the hill!
