Bosco is a top tier school; it has a variety of different programs to create a unique experience for every student. The Pathway system definitely prepares students for collegiate success, by giving them a headstart into their career aspirations. I found that, due to the strong emphasis on academics and sports, students shaped into well-rounded young men—ready to tackle any challenge thrown at them. The overall atmosphere of the school is one of brotherhood and cooperation, grounded in religious value. Every single day is filled with academic success coupled with athletic success. The duality of academics and athletics creates an environment of individuality within the greater unit. I would strongly recommend St. John Bosco to any prospective student!

I am a freshman at St. John Bosco High School and I love it. All the teachers are very kind and supportive, and will not hesitate to give help. The academics are great, especially the pathways. I am in the Entrepreneurship pathway and I have learned so much in a single semester! The location suits my family very well as it is just off of the 105 Freeway and on Bellflower Blvd. I am also on the Cross Country and Track teams and the head coach is amazing! In a matter of six moths of training, I went from a 7:30 mile time to a 5:40 mile time! I am also in the SJB Band and Drum Line and am immensely enjoying both. The food sold on campus is good, and is sold at cheap prices. Lastly, the brotherhood here is great, and everybody is friends with everybody. I would strongly recommend this school to anyone who is currently looking for a high school.
St. John Bosco High School has been an amazing and a life cherishing experience. I can’t say thank you enough to all my teachers, the staff, and faculty that have pushed me and challenged me throughout my high school career. The brotherhood, the rigorous academic, the endless opportunities, the and love and support from all the teachers, staff, and faculty, and most importantly the build up of having a good relationship with God is something I wouldn’t have been able to get in any other high school.
