My Experience at St. James Academy was one of, if not the best experience of my life to date. From they're outlook on inclusion, to it's beautiful campus and facilities, I really had finally found everything I was looking for in a High School Experience, and I owe this to Saint James Academy. As an Incoming Junior transfer student in 2017, I really wasn't sure to expect anymore out of High School. I needed a big change, a new positive light in my young adult life. St. James was that answer for me. I strongly advise anyone in the area who is unsure of where to attend high school, or maybe even in my position of transferring a couple years in, to seek out the community of St. James. It truly was life changing for me.
These past four years have been an absolute blast! First off, SJA is a school that proudly shares the Catholic faith with all of its students and has helped me grow exponentially in my own faith via daily Mass, weekly confessions, and adoration. Also, the teachers are rockstars and care about each student not only academically but also spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Finally, the students are amazing people to be around, and I've loved the community that the school has given me these last four years. I am getting ready to graduate from SJA, but I know that it will always hold a special place in my heart.
I love the community system that we have at my school. I think that my school has a great student to teacher ratio and it is very easy to find time during the day to get help with homework or upcoming tests. I love the activities and clubs at my school and find it easy to get involved in anything I would like to do. I like the friends that I have made and the kindness that I am shown on a daily basis at my school. Overall my high school experience has been excellent!
