St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic School Reviews
Rating 4.44 out of 5 9 reviews
My child has been at St. Ignatius for eleven years (since PreK 3). As a parent who grew up in a small town going to a very small school, I was looking for that same type of experience for my child. There is a very close community feeling in the school and the students are not only encouraged, but mentored on giving and volunteering in the community. I have found the academic experience to be well above average. Class sizes are small (one per grade), which allows for peer relationships to be formed and mature over years. There is clearly a diverse demographic at the school. I would recommend St. Ignatius without hesitation to anyone looking for a close knit community feel in the middle of a big city!
St. Ignatius School is dedicated to its students! The school promotes intellectual, spiritual, physical and moral growth daily for all students and faculty. The school's connection to the Holy Cross community allows our students to work with students from St. Edwards University, as well as students from other local Catholic High Schools. The school also offers sports, robotics and other extra curricular activities throughout the school year. All of three of my granddaughters love going to St. Ignatius!!
I can't begin to tell what a blessing St.Ignatius Martyr Catholic School has been for our family. As a parent/s, you want to care, feed, and guide your children to be the best they can be and for them to be happy, caring, respectful, compassionate and loving to others. As Catholic parents, my wife Laura and I wanted to plant a foundation of the Catholic Faith with our children's education. We have 4 children at St. Ignatius; all but one started with PK3 at this school. It brings so much joy to all our families to see the kids growing up with the Catholic faith. We sit at the dinner table and see them pray. They pray for others, say God bless each other, and say I love you to each other. Profoundly the things my children have learned at St. Ignatius touch our hearts and souls. The teachers are A+. The classes are small, which enables the teachers to interact with the kids more frequently. My wife, I, and the kids could not be happier going to this school. Go Bobcats!!!!
