Best school ever! They have everything you could possible want in a high school! Most schools say they have things and at the surface it may look like they do but really don't. All you need to do is spend time at SICP and know what a special place this is. SICP's 150 year history and landmark status has given it credentials no other high school can claim. It has top notch academics, religion, financial aid, counseling, parent involvement, diversity, innovation...you name it they have it.

My experience at Saint Ignatius has been fantastic! The teachers and other students are supportive and welcoming. I played two sports, and while the school spirit isn’t the best in terms of coming out for support, the competing atmopshpere is definetly there. Students come from all over the chicago land area, all of whom are academically driven and smart. Overall I love it
Saint Ignatius is a private Jesuit school that gives students the opportunity to create the best high school experiences possible. Although it isn’t as diverse as other schools in the Chicago area, it gives every and any student that goes there the tools necessary to succeed at the college level. The school allows students to be vulnerable without feeling exposed and creates a positive environment for everyone to grow. The environment pushes students to serve as men/women for others which speaks volumes about their duty as human beings. The school’s administration looks out for its students, the counselors are your 2nd group of friends offering moral support for what you’re going through, the teachers provide the outside classroom help needed, and the food is good for a high school cafeteria. Overall, St. Ignatius’ faculty is great and insightful, and the school community allows you to be a part of a loving family that you will be a member of for the rest of your life.
