St. Fred's is a small, and welcoming school. The teachers and faculty are amazing, intelligent, and so kind. When I first came to St. Fred's it was great, I made new friends and the teachers were great. Freshman year, I started to notice the flaws in our school, like the teachers and homework, but I think with the new IB program coming up this will help our school become better. One time I asked a teacher a question and she gave me the answer and said that she was going to take off points just because she gave me the answer. I was in shock. This is why I'm looking forward to the program and new teachers, because we needed a change. I have met some of them and they are wonderful, and they actually want to teach us! Since, we are such a small school the only criticism I have is that we should not wear ID's. Everyone knows each other and I believe it to be unnecessary and a hassle. St. Fred's is amazing and I'm looking forward to the next three years there!
As both an alumni and parent of 2 SFHS students, I couldn't be more please with a safe, Christian environment that holds students to a high standard educationally and spiritually. The girls athletics is incredible, with strong coaches mentoring them and leading them to the top!
I love this school. At first look, it might seem like a really bad school with bad academics and lots of poor things, but if you dig a little deeper, you can see how great this school really is. In order to learn, you have to be patient and respectful which I feel like the kids who make bad judgements and leave this school lack. This school can teach you a lot in general. It helps you become a better person in our world and encourages and helps you to do great things in life. This school also has a really good environment and it makes you feel like every student, teacher, and staff member you see while walking around campus is your family. There are lots of clubs and extracurricular activities you can join here at this school. There are some I would like to add like drama, cooking, and others. Otherwise, I would keep the same. I enjoy going here and I always look forward to a few day of school when I wake up in the morning. I wish I could stay here forever as a student.
