Attending St. Francis Prep was one of the best choices I have made thus far in my lifetime. SFP is more than a high school, it truly becomes your second home for your entire four years there. The students, teachers, and faculty become one big family and everyone has a sense of closeness to one another.

You can rest assured that you will be receiving a quality education while attending SFP. Everything I learned during my time at St. Francis Prep has prepared for me for what I would learn in college, sometimes giving me an upper edge. Speaking of college; SFP prepares you beyond belief for being a successful student in college. I went to college nervous like most people, but soon realized I had nothing to worry about thanks to my teachers and advisors at St. Francis Prep.

If you're worried about paying tuition for SFP just know that you are getting the best bang for you buck!

I had wonderful teachers who were always there to support me and give their time for extra help. I was on the hockey team and it was a great experience. Not many schools offer ice hockey. I love to play this sport and it helped keep me focused and motivated to keep my grades up to remain on the team. There is a variety of different academic courses to choose from. I took computer science, business law, accounting and history electives. The food and the facilities were above average and that is very important to me. We have a nice gym and cafeteria. Also the library was a great place to study and relax during free period. I also felt very safe in my school. You do not see fights and other unsafe activities like you do in other schools. There are so many clubs and activities to choose from. There is something for everyone and also many opportunities to provide community service.
I like that St. Francis Preparatory School offers a wide variety of courses to choose from and offers an immersive experience that most other schools don't match. Most of the teachers are down to earth and know how to teach, although I wouldn't mind a little more rigor for a preparatory school, which seems to be slightly lacking unless you take honors/AP classes. For the tuition it costs per year (nearly $10k per year as of the 2017-2018 school year), I feel there could be more done for the school to really boast it up. However, the music and art facilities have gotten major enhancements and this is one of the best institutions for the arts. SFP is not the absolute best school out there as there are tougher schools to attend that will prep you for college, but it offers a unique experience that not many others can match.
