St. Francis High School Reviews
Rating 4.32 out of 5 131 reviews
As a new Freshman parent I've been continually impressed with each interaction with St. Francis. The onboarding process is organized and informative, not only for the Freshman students, but the parents as well. All of the junior high events they offer students and parents to learn about what St. Francis offers are exceptional. The parent information session was a game changer. Hearing from staff AND students was great. Hearing about all of the great elective classes that neighboring Catholic High Schools do NOT offer, was also an eye opener. The feeling you get when you arrive at St. Francis is awesome. The community feeling is contagious. Everyone is happy. Father John is such an incredible asset to the school! The academics are challenging which is what we want! The athletics and coaching are top notch and we can't wait to switch back to the Chicago Catholic League next year as St. Francis continually outperforms its current competition. A+ for Faith, Academics, Athletics & Family!
St. Francis' academic and athletic accomplishments speak for themselves. 100% graduation and college acceptance rates; 38 consecutive years of football and volleyball regional titles; state choir champions 3 years in a row; professional grade theater and visual arts productions...the list goes on!
To add, the community at St. Francis truly sets it apart. St. Francis students are kind and compassionate. The teachers dedicate themselves fully to development of each individual: academically, socially, and spiritually. The administration is committed to ensuring the future of the school and is fully immersed in the school's culture. The campus is also breathtaking - set alongside Cantigny Woods with enormous trees, beautiful landscaping, and striking exteriors. It is a gem of the Western Suburbs and boon to the Chicago area. Many alumni choose to send their children here - the most authentic recommendation a person can make!

I like that St. Francis High School promotes the cultivation of learning and growing in the students' relationships and connections with other students and teachers. The community prepares their students for college and life. The sports, academics, and extracurricular activities are diverse and help students acquire important skills they will use in their everyday lives. The theatre and choir programs are very distinguished and these communities exhibit how the students are enjoying their attendance at St. Francis. The pep rallies, school dances, and Spartan Spirit activities help students look forward to attending school every day. The staff, faculty, and teachers deeply care for the students and aim to help them succeed in any future career that the students may pursue.
