All the different grade classes are very close-knit. The classes have small numbers of students in each of them, therefore, teachers make sure that each student is getting the help they need on all individual subjects. Last year, my school brought in a new course called Social-Emotional Learning. This has been brought in to help students from 6th grade to 12th grade with conflicts that they might have to face in the long run. This year, we have implemented Passion Projects into out learning which allows kids to make a presentation about anything that they are interested in.
I have attended SFCHS since kindergarten and It has been amazing. The academics are fine, but the teachers and friends you make are out of this world. I have made friends here that I know will be with me all of my life and the teachers not only give you one on one help, but they are kinda like family. You can always count on them if you need someone to talk to or get an opinion from. We have have six sports here: cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, and track. Our football team has been undefeated this year and only lost one game last year and our tack team goes to state every year too. When it comes to lunches you can count on being satisfied here 9 times out of 10. The cooks actually take their time to make a meal everyone loves and they make it well. The music teacher, Mrs. Morrow, is quite the conductor. She helps the kids perfect each and every one of their parts, band or choir.
I love my school! Everyone is so welcoming and you never feel left out. I would like to see more people support and participate in music and arts. Although I a sports person to the max, I would love to see more people support the arts and music indusrty.
