My favorite thing about St.Francis High School (SFHS) was the teachers and workers. SFHS had amazing teachers who genuinely cared about their students and were happy to help their students with anything. They were adults worthy of being trusted, creating a safe atmosphere for students.
SFHS also has an amazing music program with tons of opportunities for students to showcase their talents. The band program has extracurricular activities like drumline, jazz band, madrigal band, pep band, and marching band! Every year there is also a solo and ensemble contest, where students can perform a piece they have been working on for few months in front of a judge. The student would then receive feedback and a score.

I had a fine experience at Saint Francis! I made many wonderful friends, took away many lessons, and learned about things that I enjoy doing and some not so much. Some knowledge that has been very useful, in college and in my everyday life.
A large majority of the teachers I had, I enjoyed very much. They are very personable and fun to be around. They, not only, teach me what I need to know but also show me a person that I would like to become. I had many teachers who had fantastic personalities and were very easy to get along with, some I still talk to often.
I had also participated in several activities, ranging from gymnastics to softball to choir to yearbook. I loved each and everyone of the clubs/teams I was a part of and I have taken what I have learned in each club and use the lessons and morals everyday.

What I loved about St. Francis High School was the community - especially the theater and music department. I felt like I belonged there and I was welcomed with open arms. However, it was the theater department that really helped find who I really was. Almost a majority of my most favorite high school memories came from my experience through theater. Besides theater and music, I was also involved in a number of other activities too. Some of these activities included Student Council, Speech, Debate, National Honor Society, Show Choir, and School Board Representative. By being involved within my school, I came to learn to love the community that gave me to most .
