I had a fine experience at Saint Francis! I made many wonderful friends, took away many lessons, and learned about things that I enjoy doing and some not so much. Some knowledge that has been very useful, in college and in my everyday life.
A large majority of the teachers I had, I enjoyed very much. They are very personable and fun to be around. They, not only, teach me what I need to know but also show me a person that I would like to become. I had many teachers who had fantastic personalities and were very easy to get along with, some I still talk to often.
I had also participated in several activities, ranging from gymnastics to softball to choir to yearbook. I loved each and everyone of the clubs/teams I was a part of and I have taken what I have learned in each club and use the lessons and morals everyday.

Teachers are getting fired and classroom sizes are growing to 40 students. On top of this, the district decided to renovate the entire school, but quality of education comes from educators first and foremost, not classroom aesthetics. The teachers try to keep students from doing PSEO, and the school sets up PSEO meetings with your counselor way too late to the point where you can only apply to crappy community colleges. The PSEO registration deadline for the U of M twin cities is in mid April, but the PSEO registration process at St. Francis doesn't start until May. Students are ok, but the environment is not academically stimulating at all.
It is a good experience and I have lots of friend and I enjoy participating in sports and working hard at what I do. I have learned many life lessons and I am ready for the real world and to work hard and do my best. I want to succeed and be the best at whatever I do and I think Saint Francis High School has taught me that. I always have resources to go to to guide me and figure out my future. There is lots of opportunity to become successful here!
