My experience was very good at St. Francis. The teachers and faculty are friendly and I always felt welcome on campus. The classes have been challenging, yet the teachers are usually available to help. There is wonderful class unity and school pride here! The students here are very bright and usually kind, yet some are not very friendly and cliques are a problem. I have great friends here, yet it is hard to make new friends sometimes because of the distinguished friend group. Over all, this was an amazing high school experience and I am grateful I went to St. Francis.

Great environment with a bond among the students that is truly unique. Supportive and friendly teachers, counselors, and staff! Very competitive environment, especially around the time when college acceptance notices start coming out. Be yourself, try new things, don't compare yourself or your accomplishments to those of others and SF will be an amazing experience.
Overall my experience at St. Francis has been extremely positive. I can from a public school and I was looking for a high school that would help me get in touch with my spirituality and encourage me to grow intellectually and as a well-rounded person. St. Francis has faculty who really care about the students and want them to succeed. Many of the students are very kind, caring, honest people. It's fairly easy to find high-quality people to hang out with.

The only negatives at St. Francis would be the lack of diversity. Since St. Francis is a private school it is predominantly white and many wealthy families from throughout Sacramento have their children attend. At times it's easy to get caught up in this bubble and lose touch with the real world. Additionally, since there is little diversity you can encounter ignorant people who speak before they think and make rude comments about race and others who aren't like them.
