From St. Francis Episcopal School

For more than 60 years, St. Francis Episcopal School has nurtured children in an environment that emphasizes both scholastic excellence and emotional growth. Today, our preschool through high school program guides our students from the first stirrings of independence and cooperation in Primary School into the academic refinement and self-awareness of Upper School—all while encouraging a heart for others that will see them well into their adult years. Drawing from our legacy of success, St. Francis Episcopal School offers dynamic learning opportunities to ensure young visionaries of different faiths, experiences, and backgrounds are encouraged to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

This is an extremely high caliber Christian private school with rigorous academics and numerous leadership and community outreach opportunities. The middle school students also participate in overnight trips during the school year and travel abroad during the summers. SFES students have all the characteristics of students attending nationally ranked private schools, except they exude more humility.

We have 3 children at St. Francis and have absolutely loved our experience. It’s a very high quality education but, most importantly, the school does a great job of investing in the whole child. The school’s motto is to create “people for others” and that mission permeates the entire experience. We think St. Francis is a unique school experience in Houston.
Our two daughters went through St Francis from 2 years old to graduation. They came out very well prepared academically and emotionally well balanced. The school focuses on the whole child and could not be more nurturing. Character is as important as academics and the staff gives attention to each child. The administration are always available to address concerns and approach the inevitable challenges collaboratively. Overall we could not have been happier with the time spent there.
