Saint Francis Borgia Regional High School was a fairly good school. My time there was good, but I am aware that that is due to which groups I fit into during my time there. Being an athlete and a focused student were two of the well respected groups of the school. However, people in choir, theater, and various other clubs did not have this same experience. Similarly, the average social status of the people at this school was decently high, with some even being very financially stable. Yet, my social status and financial stability was much lower, making me feel different and set apart from the rest of the students in a negative way. The school itself was fairly accepting toward my financial place, but the students did not understand what it was like to struggle. Nonetheless, because of the person I was, most people overlooked this and continued to treat me kindly. I know not everyone was as fortunate as myself, but my time at this institution prepared me for college very well.

It was a good experience. I liked the close sommunity among the people in the school. We really are a family. We are a catholic school so we are strongly faith based and have monthly masses together to confirm what we believe as a school and as a community. The teachers are truly amazing. They really care about their students and about each other. Some of the best teachers I’ve had through my whole education were here at Saint Francis Borgia Regional Highschool. I’ve made great friends, and experienced high quality academics. The only thing that was difficult was the lack of parent involvement within the academics. Students are held highly responsibe for their work and their grades. Parents are not often notified about things as students are expected to either keep track of their grades or tell their parents about their grades.
We love how the school is one big community. It is like one big family. Amazing staff who prepare kids for college. These teachers have no idea what an impact they leave on their students. They truly make a difference. The adminstrative staff goes above and beyond to take care of the kids and make sure parents are at ease. St.Francis Borgia was a new school to myself and my family. I only knew 1 person but that didnt last long. The kids were accepting of me as a outsider and made me comfortable. I will soon graduate and leave this school. I had some of the best years and times during my high school experience. It is in a different part of Missouri so i was exposed to different things such as friends living on farms, milking cows on weekends, camping out. Overall, i had a great high school experience.
