Saint Elm Senior High school has a very tight knit community. Everyone knows everyone and the faculty are very kind and helpful. There's no such thing as a bad question and they are all upbeat. The highschool is kept clean and the cooks do their best with what they have to make us a good meal. If there is an issue the Guidance counselor is almost always avaliable during school hours. The motto, Respect Yourself, Respect Property, Be There, Be Ready, and Respect Yourself is good and bullying is minimal.

My overall experience in this school has been in what I can only explain as an okay experience. The educational aspect of the school does not prepare students for college. Teachers do care about the students, but they care to much and do not make the students push themselves to discover their intellectual boundaries. The number one problem with the school however is unfortunately the student body itself. Due to the fact that many kids are becoming lazy, students pressure teachers into pushing back due dates, giving homework passes, and in some cases completely dropping an assignment altogether. My experience in high school is good, but could have been greatly improved if the students were willing to work and teachers made students push themselves harder.
Many of the teachers do care about the students, but unfortunately many are inadequate in properly preparing students for college.
