St.Edmund Catholic School is a loving and caring school for PK-12 that you will not regret being apart of. It is a welcoming family.
St. Edmund, in many ways, can be considered a fantastic school. For example, students here are some of the happiest and friendliest I have met. Bullying does not seem to be a major problem here at all: the students treat everyone like family. Despite this, Saint Edmund lacks many fundamental aspects of what makes a school truly great. Many of its teachers are somewhat underqualified; although, the teachers of the science and math departments are completely capable. The school itself is over 100 years old, so many of its issues stem from its age. This issues include antiquated uniform and appearance requirements; however, these old-fashioned rules are under consideration. All in all, what Saint Edmund may lack in its educational side, it makes up for in the unity and kindness of its student and faculty.
St. Edmund Catholic school is a small school where everyone looks out for one another. I enjoyed going to weekly mass and praying for one another. Our priests are engaged with the students showing support in every aspect of their education and/or sporting events. I enjoyed attending St. Edmund where I felt taken care of as part of a family environment. I plan to send my children to St. Edmund one day so they can experience an environment with God first and prayer is okay in any setting.
I like St. Edmund Catholic School because the student body is like a big family. On the other hand, St. Edmund is quite low on funds. The disciplinary system largely wavers toward families that give the most money to the school. The education system is slowly getting better than what it used to be as well.
I love the family involvement and traditions! Saint Edmund is a great school where every child can easily find his or her place. I was once a new student and felt so welcomed by all the students, teachers, and facility. I would definitely send my future children here.
Awesome students and excellent teachers! It was a blessing to be able to attend a school where I could worship God.
Our school is over a 100 years old, so its very old. I feel like we need to update by remodeling and cleaning out old school property that we do not nessicarily need. We have safety drills quite often so we can test the procedure for the administration, students, and local police and fire marshals/firemen.
We mostly have academic clubs, which is good, but I feel like we need more clubs that are interest-based
Our school is extremely small. So, everyone knows everyone. Our graduating classes rank from 25 students to 40 people. St. Edmund is one big family, which is what I love so much about it. Our school is unique compared to other schools in our area because we follow our tradition, which brings a comforting and exciting feeling to the students including me. I would choose St. Edmund if i could do high school all over again.
The teachers are magnificent and are always at school very early in the morning to aid students. Teachers are always willing to help, and the new principal is making many improvements!
Most of the time I enjoy the food, Sometimes it is quite greasy.
They have National Honor Society and FBLA. Baseball, football, cheer;easing, dancing, tennis, and track are also available.
