The academic experiences are decent as a variety of classes are offered to prepare you for college. Teachers were always willing to help but didn't know their curriculum all the time. The lack of students attending impacts the quality of competitive sports. Also, the administration has not created the best environment for both staff and students.
So many positive changes have occurred in the past 5 years thanks to strong leadership. The curriculum has been updated, staff is held accountable, the cleanliness of the school and grounds has dramatically improved and it seems to be financially in good shape. Go Gaels!
Overall, St. Edmond Catholic School is a wonderful environment for academic and spiritual learning. However, it is not the best fit for everyone. It boasts a wonderful set of professional teachers, but lacks in diversity. St. Edmond's provides great academic learning that is above average compared to the state. It also has a wonderful music department that truly cares about everyone. One thing to note is that administrators are often swayed by particular "legacy" families, which can lead to issues with equality within the school.
