My child attended St. Coleman Pre-K through 8th, graduating last year. Overall, the school is good. As expected, it is pricey due to it being a private school. Everything is great, but not impressive. The teachers as a whole are varied depending on quality. However, I have to applaud the 7th and 8th grade teachers. Mr. Littlefield (us history), Mrs. Cucchi (religion), Mrs. Thomas (literature), Mrs. Bujalski (grammar), Mrs. Scher (math), and especially Mrs. Van Sciver (science) are THE BEST in the school. They are all very passionate about their respective subject and teach very well. My child enjoyed those two years a lot.

The current tuition is 11,000 not including all the fees they hit you with (ie Technology, Registration, Assessment ect...). They offer a discretionary Parishioners discount but it only for the amount equal to what you put into the Church envelopes during the year so I would not call it a discount, it's just a deferred payment. If you can not afford to pay the full tuition the Business Office treats you like a second class citizen. I feel that you do not get what you pay for at this school. The leadership is disappointing and will not go out of their way to help unless it is in their best interest. The teachers are about average although their are a few well below average (Mrs Spatz the 5th grade teacher is a perfect example of a below average teacher). I believe the school is better than any Public School in Broward or Palm Beach County but there are much better Private Schools your child could go too. Overall I would not recommend this school to anyone that asks.
Just one clarification... The other review states that the discount is only for what you put in, that is inaccurate this year. Last yeae, yes, it was insane. They made it an 800.00 credit for the 800.00 donation to the church (Which is still nice because it's a tax write off to the church but not as tuition) This year, the tuition (all inclusive of fees) with parishioners was between 9200 and 9700, I believe. My children have attended Scs since K and they have always been above their friends outside the school. It is a statement to the school that many of their teachers attended there and many of their parents were once students.
