St. Clair Secondary School Reviews
Rating 3.36 out of 5 33 reviews
St. Clair is a very nice high school with friendly staff and students. It is a smaller school with about 50-60 kids per grade. I really like the small town and its community. The students receive one-on-one attention from the teachers which is very helpful. All the students know each other and it is a safe and familiar environment for the students to learn in. The one thing I would change about St. Clair is that we have fewer class options due to the small size of our school, so I would want more elective options for students to gain new experiences and explore career options. Also, our chemistry program is not very well developed and that is a hurdle I will have to overcome in college as a student seeking education in STEM. Although the small school atmosphere is very helpful in forming relations and having a more intimate learning experience, there is very little diversity in St. Clair. Diversity within the school is slowly increasing, but students of color are still outnumbered.
I like how this school offers many college classes through many different colleges. I wish they also offered AP classes. I wished they would attempt to include the arts more into the schedule. With so many reburied classes they make it hard to have a study hall and be in band/choir/art. However, this did push me to become great at time management, although, it was overwhelming.
I've gone there my entire life and almost never had a bad experience. It's such an amazing school! They have a great academies department but I would love it to have a better art department!
