My high school experience was sub-par. The teachers tried their best but were ultimately put down by the administration. There was said to be “room” for self-expression, but anyone that supposedly expressed themselves was shut down and/or ridiculed for their differences. The students were extremely clique-y and rude to those outside of their own “groups”. I’ve heard that it’s gotten much worse since I graduated and I’m so sorry for the kids that still go there. Test scores don’t represent a school accurately. St. Charles East was awful.

East was a great school to attend, I've enjoyed my first 3 years here greatly, and I am expecting more of the same this year as well. The people here are very friendly, and it is very easy to become friends with other students. The teachers here are fantastic as well. They are always willing to help both in and out of the classroom. One more thing that's great is the unmatched school spirit. A great deal of students attend the sporting events, and homecoming week with the volleyball games, and small games is a great experience and it was awesome to be a part of. Overall St. Charles East was a great high school to attend, and I would recommend it to anyone moving into St. Charles.
East high school is very good school. Everybody feels welcomed here. The teachers care about you and your learning fully. People are constantly being included, and there are classes for just about everything. There are rigorous AP classes that are offered to anybody who wishes to challenge themselves. Many of the students take advantage of these opportunities and receive credit as a result. Everybody here is like a family and we all support one another. This school has helped shape who I am. The people I have met have forever changed my life. There are plenty of extra curricular activities for people to participate in as well. Sports are important, but we also have academic completions we participate in.
