I loved the community and family at st Cecilia’s. The small sized school is great for someone who wants to feel special and feel like they belong to a big family full of people who know each other. It has been a great way for me to encounter Christ because we have had many great teachers, nuns, and priests who know a lot about their faith and want to pass it on to the students. The teachers are all nice and fun. I also love how we like to succeed in all that we do wether it be in sports, academics, arts, and most importantly our spiritual life.
At my school, St. Cecilia, the students and teachers are very connected. Whether that being connected through academics or sports. One major way we all bond is through AG2G meaning all glory to God. This means that everything we do regarding our school, we do it for God. Not only being close with other students we are also close with teachers. These teachers help prepare us for the future. They also help with any schoolwork always willing to make sure we understand. I believe that both teachers and the students have impacted my experience here, greatly.
I loved going to St. Cecilias. The community there has always been very close. Students always helped with any help that was need when trying to get a fundraiser going, helping set up, or helping work it. Being in a class of only a small number of seniors, we’ve all been pretty close growing up during the years. Some leaving and some joining us. It was always nice having a smaller class because the teachers could supply you with some more assistance if you needed it. The teachers always tried their best to help you in anyway they could. They would find time throughout the day to be able to assist you with the extra help you needed. Going to that school has made me feel like a part of a big family. Everyone knows everyone there from the youngest student to the oldest teacher or staff. The teachers don’t only act as teachers but they feel like friends. They care about your education and want to also teach you lessons for the real world. St. Cecilias was a home to me.
