When I first arrived at SBP, I felt welcomed. Since this was a school open to boarding students as well as daily commuters, I chose to live on campus in the boys dorm. I was an introvert, so I kept to myself at first. However, there were some other students who pushed me to get to meet everyone and see those around me for who they were, as well as who they were trying to be. I made many great memories living at this school, and had a wide diversity of friends. Living at SBP was the most beneficial thing I could have chosen to do to get ready for college, as it has thoroughly prepared me for living away from home, interacting with people from all walks of life, dealing with difficult situations, and knowing when to speak out and when to stay silent. This final lesson leads me to the only significant thing I could possibly say about the school: the rules there are questionable at times. But this could easily be overlooked due to the many benefits I received from attending SBP.
Saint Bernard Preparatory School is an excellent and prestigious school. Being a student at Saint Bernard Preparatory School, helps better prepare me for college and for life. As a student at Saint Bernard Preparatory School, I am compelled to exceed the high standards Saint Bernard Preparatory School sets for its students.
Saint Bernard is an amazing place to learn. The school has a very friendly, familial feel. As soon as you step onto campus people you will feel at home. The four years at this school have taught me so much, both in the classroom and outside. I highly recommend this school to any middle or high school students.
