Over all I've had an amazing experience, the teachers and staff work very hard to make sure everyone is able yo graduate and achieve their goals. While some teachers push harder than others, no two will ever teach alike. Each teacher has their own personality and often keep work and home sperate. The students work together to do simply amazing things and we have a very diverse group of students and staff. I haven't had a single teacher who didn't care about the well being of a student, whether it was mentally or physically. The teachers have been willing to sit after or before school to allow a student to makeup any grade and often during their lunch or planning period. The French class and teacher could improve but overall it's been an amazing experience at Saint Augustine High.

I loved St. Augustine High School. It has so much to offer, from the AICE program, to St. Johns County Center for the Arts, to an aerospace program, you can tailor your experience at SAHS to what you want it to be! The teachers are wonderful, always very supportive and willing to help you if you are struggling. Overall, I am proud to have graduated from St. Augustine High School.
SAHS is a performing arts focused school. I have had a very good experience in this aspect of my education, as the performing arts staff have been very supportive and encouraging and challenged me to improve my craft in many different ways including chorus, jazz band, and drama. Outside of the performing arts hall, however, there is a different story. The school as a whole is overcrowded and understaffed, and there is a consistent poor attitude towards education in most if not all non-musical classes I have been in. I believe if the staff were better suited to their positions and were more open minded, it would result in a better attitude in the student body. I would like to see the same pursuit of self improvement that is evident in the performing arts program to spread to the rest of the school's programs and activities. If not for this program I would certainly have rated SAHS less than 3 stars.
