food is really good. good and healthy environment. teachers are nice, good academics, and sports....
St. Augustine has shaped my life forever by helping me make so many unforgettable memories. The teachers are amazing not to mention it’s administration. They helped me get through some of the toughest times I had to endure as a student and as a person.
The experience there is very welcoming. I started my freshman year and don't regret it. You meet great people, have a spiritual opening, and just enjoy your years of high school. I'm currently going to be a senior this upcoming year and appreciate all they've done for me. St. Augustine High School is a catholic school and a pretty small one too. The teachers are great there and will be there for you, the extra curricular's are really phenomenal, and you just always have something fun to do.
I consider St. Augustine High School to be my second home. Everyone there is family and since its a small school, on cold winter days, the classrooms are warm and make you feel at home with the vintage look it has. To be totally honest I never wanted to go to St. Aug. I had my eyes on another highschool called Alexander Highschool, a public high school that teaches around seven hundred students a day per grade. The high school was to be inaugurated that year which meant we would be the first class to break in the new campus. It was an opportunity I couldn't let go of. Unfortunately on the first day I got traumatized by the number of people there were in the hallways and to be exact I didn't feel comfortable. Thankfully my parents were understanding and switched me to St. Aug where I am now. I couldn't be any happier for this was the best decision ever. Every classmate accepted me for who I was and treated me like family. I will diffidently miss St. Augustine when I graduate.
My time at St. Aug was fantastic! Because of the small size, you are able to build strong relationships with everyone. The teachers will always by there to help you out. It's like a big family.
It has been a great school with only minor problems here and there. The teachers and events at the school are really great with amazing involvement from both the staff and the student body. Some classes are harder than other but they help to prepare for college.
St. Augustine high school is a top school to attend from the education to the sports every student is highly involved in all school activities. St. Augustine is a prestige catholic high school that teaches the the great moral values of the Catholic religion. My experience here at St. Augustine High school has been the most impactful time of my life, where I learned many lessons of life through the catholic faith while I still continue learn more and excel my knowledge for my future occupation.
St. Augustine is a great high school that I had the utter most blessing to attend. The teachers are astounding and always sought to help out the students in any way possible, especially to learn and make the grades. The school is great in charity, sports, and getting the student body to be involved in volunteer work around Laredo. As well as family oriented, everyone is very friendly with one another and keeping close in contact. It is a school that helps out the community and seeks to bring its students together as a united student body.
Friendly enviroment and great teachers that love to teach and connect to the student.Teachers and staff are friendly and care about students.
Studying at St. Augustine High School helped me getting prepared for the future challenges that someday we need to face. For example: college, St.Augustine is a well-prepared school with excellent faculty that will help you understand all types of academic materials. St. Augustine environment is the best one, since is Catholic high school they teach their students on how to communicate with God and how to learn our values and morals.
I love how they keep their very faith present but still have respect and treat those who are not catholic the same. Plus, the teachers are amazing and the educational level is impecable which is the most important.
Being a part of the St. Augustine family has been an excellent experience for me. The administrations as well as the students are always spreading great energy and its just a good feeling being surrounded by it every single day.
I've been in St.Augustine School since 3rd grade and I really love how the teachers are with everyone.
I dont believe this school is a college prep school. few teachers have prepared me for college. Ive been struggling with deadlines. But the rules for this high school teachers have to accept late work. I have had few professors that accept late work. I think mainly that would help prepare for college. 100% go to college in a way thats a lie in a way it isn't isn't because they make you apply to colleges even if you get accepted to a community college which everyone can get into but it doesn't mean that they will for sure go after they graduate. I know people who had to take summer school and still don't go to college. But at the same time theres a big amount that continue. I think if the school is going to drug test its student it should focus more on athletes than on others but its random so I don't think the would be possible? They really needs to step up on security Even if its like the public school with a security guard at both front and back entrances before you can come in.
I really like St. Augustine High School because we are all very close here. Everyone knows each other and our relationships with the teacher are very good too because sometimes we repeat teachers when we change years so we know we can trust them since we had them years before. They prepare us for college since freshman year so that is a really big advantage. Overall, St. Augustine is a place I would call home and I love the environment.
Overall, it was a good experience to have been there. Yes, there might have been many low points during my time there, but the people that I met there really changed me. If you wanted to learn, you will learn.
St. Augustine High School is a great growing environment. Because it is such a small school it really is very family oriented. However, their academics and college readiness is very poor and their teachers are over worked and poorly qualified. I would like to see some major changed in this area because St. Aug has a lot of potential and so does their students.
