St. Ann Catholic School Reviews
Rating 4.33 out of 5 3 reviews
I believe that St. Ann's has a decent elementary school program, unless your child needs extra help or has a learning disability. As they get further into their middle school education it isn't up to par. Some of the teachers are great, but their math program is very poor. Most of their students in 6th-8th grade have to have a math tutor outside of school just to keep up. St. Ann has ranked the lowest in math in the area through tests Badin High School has done. They have lost students in recent years because the administration chooses to ignore very real concerns of the students and parents. They lost almost half of their 7th grade class last year because of this. If you have a gifted child then I think they will be fine at this school, but there isn't any extra classes to challenge them. It is a small school, so a child is able to form very tight knit relationships and some of these teachers are great, but some serious problems need to be fixed before these kids reach high school.
St. Ann Catholic School is our extended family. From the moment my son, husband and took a tour of the school we were welcome in with open arms. Not as dollar signs but as if we had known each other forever. This family extends from the Principal to the teachers and staff and down to the youngest members who are not even old enough to attend school. We gather around and support each other through good times and bad. Just like all families we are not without issues, but we work together to resolve those for the best of everyone involved. They say it takes a village to raise a child. I cannot think of any other village that i would want want my son to belong to.
St Ann has a fantastic preschool program. The program leverages learning centers including a smart table, sensory table, drama play, arts and crafts and academic.
