St. Alphonsus Elementary School Reviews

2 reviews
I went to St. Alphonsus Elementary for nine years and it was amazing. The staff here are so helpful. It was a tiny school, so everyone knew each other there. We all got along with each other very well. The school wasn't so diverse when I used to go there. But I do not know it is now. This is a private catholic school, which was good for me. There wasn't that much clubs or activities at the school, because it was a very small school. There is so much unity within the school and the staff, and I felt very safe going there everyday. All of cousins went to that school, and I think that going to that school was one of the best choices my mom has ever made.

I did not enjoy going to the school. It may have been just a bad choice for me, as I did not fall in the middle range of students. Private schools like this work best if one is not above intelligence or below in that grade. Students that fall behind don't tend to get much help and are just passed along. Failing a grade doesn't happen often above third grade. There were good times like field trips. I recommend a higher level of education. However, my review may not be too helpful as the school has changed quite a bit in recent years by getting a new principal. But a lack of funds is still a severe issue.
